A native of Newark, N.J., that got the great idea to become a makeup artist after reading the credits of feature films as a teenager. Max Factor & Ben Nye were the two most sought after makeup artists at that time. With the public library had his only resource he found a book written by Makeup Artist Way Bandy. Like Bandy, William enrolled in Beauty School only to find out that makeup application was only a small part of the schools curriculum. He then went on to take classes at Il’Makiage.
Due to persistence and hard work he was finally able to carve out a career as a Makeup Artist full time.
