Fashion Stylist / TV Show Personality / Contributing Editor
Tim Gunn has been advised to step aside, Simon Cowell has his bags packed and Rachel Zoe is on a sprint for her money as there is a new fashion icon in town whose sass and spunk alone could move the harshest of celebrity critics to tears. NOLÉ MARIN is his name and as long as there are fashion emergencies, Nolé will be remain on speed dial for Hollywood’s elite.
Ground-breaking fashion icon, go-to celebrity stylist and television personality, New York-native Nolé Marin is the mastermind behind the new, buzzed-about ABC reality series “True Beauty,” backed by power-producers Ashton Kutcher and Tyra Banks, set to debut on January 5th, 2009 at 10 p.m., hosted by Vanessa Mannillo. His long run as a favorite judge on multiple seasons on “America’s Next Top Model,” creative director on “Canada’s Next Top Model” and three-time coach of MTV’s #1-hit makeover show “MADE,” is what catapulted him to superstardom.
As a regular contributing editor to Elle, Esquire, Allure and Vogue around the world, Nolé’s expertise, as featured on “E!” and “TV Guide,” is being tapped into by celebrities, producers, and editors alike, for the Oscars, Golden Globes, Emmy’s and Grammy’s. Additionally, Nolé has established himself as every A-lister’s only answer to red carpets, award shows and of course, New York Fashion Week.
Marin’s resume of work with high-profile advertising campaigns includes L’Oreal, Pepsi, Disney, Sony Music, Colgate, Avon, Showtime, Virgin Records and Lady Footlocker while working alongside noted photographers as Danella Federrici, Richard Fibbs, Greg Gorman and Nigel Barker.
His list of celebrity clients are no less impressive. Claudia Schiffer, Tommy Hilfiger, Tyra Banks, Hugh Jackman, Heidi Klum, Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Cynthia Nixon, Ricky Martin, Vivica A. Fox, Gabrielle Union, Kimora Lee and Russell Simmons, Antonio Sabato Jr., Chloe Sevigny, David Blaine, Smokey Robinson, Emily Watson and Taryn Manning have all turned to the master of trends, Nolé Marin.
As if that was not enough, our spitfire Nolé proved to the world that he has a few more tricks up his sleeve with his discovery of southern-boy-turned-international-male-modeling-sensation Sean Opry, whose face has sold millions for Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani and Gianfranco Ferre.
With “Catwalk,” the book based on Marin’s life by acclaimed creator of Disney’s “Cheetah Girls” Deborah Gregory coming out, and a sure-hit TV show on its way, Marin has proven that the story to his life has only begun being written.
When he’s not turning the average Jane into an international fashionista, securing celebrities on best-dressed lists around the globe, or coaching a friend in need on the proper way to insert a pocket square, Nolé splits his time between both coasts and his affection among nine adopted dogs.
So as fashion disasters still make their rounds, Nolé Marin will be making his own rounds controlling the damage and beautifying America, one bad outfit and attitude at a time.
