Takisha Sturdivant-Drew discovered her passion for coifing hair while attending Queens Vocational High School in her native metropolis, New York. She became a licensed cosmetologist after high school and began her career as a hairstylist working on Manhattan's Upper East Side. While continuing her education at Borough of Manhattan Community College, Takisha also continued cultivating her craft by developing her unique signature style.

Takisha's progressive and loyal clientele ultimately led her into an entrepreneurship in Brooklyn, New York. Her standard for excellence, her impeccable, innovative style and staunch professionalism has taken her into the mediums of print, film, theatre, and television.
